As leaders in the field of zero-carbon design and development, Zed Factory have a unique track record of delivering Zero (fossil) Energy Development (ZED) buildings in the UK.
Zed Factoryoffer the full range of architectural services, from masterplanning and design of large-scale 'eco villages' to one-off individual building commissions. They also offer architect-developer services under our "land partnering" initiative, where they employ a range of 'standard' house-types and off-site manufacture to minimise risk and cost. Their latest house-type, RuralZED, uses a timber-frame kit with thermally-massive lining.
The Bill Dunster architects ZEDfactory Ltd practice comprises 11 architects plus visualisation designers and office management staff. BDa ZEDfactory also has access to additional specialist expertise from a range of consultants, which it uses regularly.
